Turbine core silencer for E model discontinued?

I can’t find the turbine core anywhere, just the power core.....

I can’t find the turbine core anywhere, just the power core..... I’m looking at a universal turbine core but notice it slotted where it would connect the the expansion pipe. Not sure if this would slip over the fmf expansion pipe. Thanks

Yes, the E-series silencer appears to be discontinued. With that said, the best silencer for the E is the OEM silencer. It's durable, quiet, and easily repackable.

If you really want a Turbine Core for your E-model, it’s not terribly hard to modify an H model version to fit I would imagine. Some cutting and welding and BOOM!

I have an Answer SA Pro-2 for E-Series KDX available. Aluminum silencer with internal turbine core spark arrestor. Lines up and slips on perfectly with FMF pipe. Probably needs a cleanup/repack.

Post a FS ad with pics if you can. I would like to see one for an E model. I have a new one for KDX250. I have never used one, but it looks awesome. I have the first version on my 87.

I’m interested. The silencer that came on my e model has answer etched in it ironically but it’s riveted so I can’t repack it and a bit beat up. If you could share a few pics I’d appreciate it

I will try to fish it out and get a pic, but are you sure the Answer silencer is riveted on both ends? Usually it is only one. Also, you can drill the rivet out and replace with a sheet metal screw upon reassembly.

I will double check that tomorrow. Thanks for that tip with the sheet metal screw. It is definitely too beat up for my build and the look I’m going for.

Not sure that this is a restoration quality piece either, but it is a nice forest service approved arrestor that is exact fit for E-Series KDX and should clean up and repack nicely.

I recall it as being very quiet, especially for aftermarket.
