220 H Series KIPS Question

Hey guys,

I just got my cyclinder back from a replate at millenium on my 2004 kdx220 and was wondering if it is normal for this main valve to flop down about 1/8" when closed. I've attached some pics of me pushing it shut and of it hanging open.

One more question on the subvalve shaft with the oring. How much resistance is okay? I can move it with my finger but its not smooth like the other side. I read somewhere that the replate can make it tight and to hone it.

Also the 2 bolts that hold the valve slider to the cylinder arent gripping it and it can rattle. Should I add some tac welds to the back and grind them so the washers
hold it tight in the cyclinder slot?

Hanging down is normal, that's it's closed position, the sub valve can be honed easily by wrapping and glueing wet sandpaper to an old wooden spoon handle, loose bolts, there is a video on here on how to fix, search kips rattle myth
