I presume you have your Rekluse auto clutch. I know that Rekluse does not make the same part # that I used when I made mine, but a newer model for the YZ 125 should work. Yamaha did not change these mc's for quite a few model years, sorta like the YZ 250. Interesting, hope it all works okay.

I did get the rekluse disc. They don't sell it under it's own part number any longer but all the components are available as individual service parts. I had them send me the light (silver) springs and heavy weights as this seems to be the most preferable set up for others that have done this.

Wasn't thinking that way to get the clutch setup, good work. I did at one time order replacement pads and springs which are sorta common to all the same clutches. Good luck on getting the clutch. Be sure and give a review when you get it going!!!

Well I got the clutch plunger spaced out the other evening and got a first attempt at adjustment in today. I'm fighting clutch slip at high RPM in 3rd gear and higher. 1st and 2nd also aren't as snappy as they were before. I'm sure I can correct most of this through dialing in the adjustment. I don't think stiffer clutch springs will help as stock ones held the power fine on my standard clutch.

That being said the setup does function fundamentally as it is supposed to. Nice easy starts from a dead stop on inclines and perfect power application for low speed technical maneuvering. Clutch lever still fully functional. I know all these things can be accomplished with a standard clutch but it's never been possible with the hands attached to my brain.
Depth correction. I took measurements so that I can machine a single piece solution for the pushrod.

That's nerve wracking. But it wasn't marking the basket after several rotations.

It is very close tolerances. I run mine for several years with no problems other than usual wear and tear. The adjustment[free-play] is very sensitive. On mine, I only had to move the cable adjustment 1/8th of a turn to get the high speed and low speed to work properly. You can also mix the colored springs in the rekluse pack to narrow down your preference. I believe the instructions show this. Again, it is semi-hard to get the adjustment correct, but when you do it is worth it. Good luck!!!

decluk13 wrote: 04:16 pm Feb 01 2021 There is a raised boss on the gear side of the YZ basket that will need to be machined down enough for the KDX gear bushing boss to reach through almost flush with the inside surface of the basket. This works out to around .070 material removed on this particular basket.

I had to have the same 0.070" inches removed when I went through this process a couple years ago. I also used a YZ125 basket with a KTM EXP disc and Honda 250F frictions and plates.

Don't know exactly why, but I always heard that the EXP disc could be placed anywhere in the stack other than first or last.

I got this tuned in as best I could tonight. Little grabby at idle but manageable by applying clutch during prolonged stops. It chuged along right up some steep loose bank gravel no problem. I may try some of the lighter weights to see if it corrects the idle grab. It holds the power in higher gears without slipping and it's back to lifting the wheel right through 3rd like before. Difference was about 1/2 turn in on the perch adjustment to get where I'm at.

I'll ride it for a while to see how I adjust my riding. If I don't like it I can always put the original back in as it is fully intact.

I have the rekluse disc installed as second from the outside with another steel and a friction between it and the fixed outer ring. No jutter spring installed as rekluse instructs their removal for all clutches.

I went back to the original as I was dealing with some over heating issues and thought it was the Rekluse; however, it turned out being a faulty radiator cap. Haven't had the time or need to go back and try again. If I remember correctly, I set mine up with the heavy wedges and silver (light) springs.

I have had this bike out to ride Allegheny national forest trails a few times this year and was happy with how it performed. The clutch helped me make some rocky steep climbs I may not have otherwise made. Until I make some time to work on clutch control this is the best option for me to get out and cover some tougher trails.
