Sources for thumb turn air mixture screw?

Where is it i can find/ get one of those thumb turn deals?
Ran across a source here somewhere but cannot find.

Rocky Mtn ATVMC has them in the Tusk brand for the Keihins. Slavens also carries them. :grin: :grin:

I got mine from JD Jetting (as recommended by RB).
But bent it in a crash so had to cut it out and go back to screwdriver rather than risk injury to my carb.
I loved using it though. VERY handy.

Every one I’ve seen is so long that they are overly subject to damage in the woods. Would worry about damaging my carb too much to risk it. The oem knob sucks very much though. Wish someone would machine a shorter one.

OEM knob??

You might be talking about the idle screw, not the air screw.

But I agree a little shorter one would be nice, with knob just far enough out to clear the body, when seated.

I ordered a new one and going to modify the other with some kind of diy solution. I'll report on a new thread when complete.

I got one custom made from brass, the longer they are the more likely they will vibrate loose, I used a second spring on the outside to solve this
