Where to get a decent front stainless steel brake line?
Hello! My front brakes could use a little more of a solid feel at the lever, even after replacing the brake fluid and properly bleeding the system. My 2003 KDX 200 is still using the stock front brake components. Has anyone bought a stainless braided front brake cable that they recommend? Also, the stock brake line is covered most of the way with a plastic sheath that lets it slide up and down inside the nylon brake line guides as the forks travel up and down. Hopefully a new stainless brake line will come with this plastic sheath but if it doesn't, I don't know where I'd get one since it's not listed as a separate part on the Kawasaki parts fiche. Thanks for your help!

I've always used Galfer lines on every bike I've owned but it looks like they no longer offer a front line for the KDXs. Maybe you can find a NOS somewhere.

I used the Core Moto lines. They were less expensive and of really high quality. Here's some photos from an old rebuild thread of mine... viewtopic.php?f=77&t=22266&start=80
