I am looking to purchase a new wire harness for my 2005 KDX 200 for the headlight. What I have circled below are the two wires that have been spliced and ruined. So am going to need to purchase a new harness that goes into the bike. I already have the new headlight and assembly. Basically my question is what harness do I need to purchase so I can have a direct plug and play with the headlight? I am referring to OEM harnesses.

the OEM main harness is p/n 26030-1279 and will run you about 116$. Is your new headlight an OEM one? if not it won't be plug and play. Did the PO add a multifunction switch to the handlebar? A pic with the ends of the harness would be helpful. What color wires are the 2 black wires with blue caps attached to? Do you have the wire diagram?

The Headlight is OEM that's correct. I am working on restoring the bike back to its original state. The Polisport headlight I had on there was poor quality.

Look on eBay for a used harness?
