headlight/taillight
I know this may sound stupid but I have a legit question. Should the taillight be lit when the bike is running but the headlight is off? thanks for your help I'm trying to troubleshoot the lighting circuit. or is the taillight only lit when the headlight is on thanks for your help

Which KDX??
For most in stock form, I think it is lights have an on / off switch... only work when running

Agreed, usually on or off. Something might be off. Or maybe you just need a bulb?

Re: headlight/taillight
On my I replaced my 03 KDX headlight switch when it broke. I replaced it with the Tusk headlight/blinker/horn combo switch. I inadvertently wired it so the switch only turned the headlight on (hi/low) and off. My goal was to not let voltage pass between the hi and low circuit via the taillight circuit.
