Go knock it out of the park! Looking forward to your race report on either machine. Good luck and have a great race.

I’ve prepped my friends cr250r for the after summer break race 9/28. She is fully stoked and in 4th place. Racing is one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done. I’m pulling for both of you!

Ran the engine last night for the first time since the rebuild. Everything seems fine at first look. I cleaned the area under it and left it on the stand overnight. I’ll check for leaks and give it a thorough test ride today. Whenever I’ve done this much work there is a high probability I missed something, didn’t tighten a bolt somewhere, etc. need to run the bike to be sure before racing Sunday.

DONE! Successful test today. I ran it hard for about 30-40 min on the MX track today then ran about 8-10 laps on the kid’s track which is good practice for tight turns. Bike ran perfectly! Yes, I have a big grin😬!

Thanks to everyone who helped me with encouragement and tips. A special shout out to KDXGarage who called me and helped me make the decision to go with a rebuild.

Y’all keep brapping!

Old guy racin’.......out!

YES!!

Triple check everything you plan to load up to take to the race. Your scrambled brain might miss something during loading.
