Gear drum

Hi just rebuilding the kdx I did not take the gear drum out but are there any marks when assembling to align the selectors all fit in the runners

It only goes together one way.
If you lend someone $20, and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

Many thanks all that side done if that’s the case fighting with needle roller at minute tried heat tried bearing puller thing will not move soaking it in penetrating oil for 24 hours

1 or 2 days of a good penetrating oil can make a big difference. Which needle bearing are you trying to pull out?

A lot of people say to just put the case in the oven.

Agreed. 275 - 300 degrees F. Use gloves & turn the case over on a piece of wood, smack it down to help. Inside bearings may still need the "slide hammer/puller tool" as I call it.
