Hi. One post said R1174N, and one said R1172N.

You are at a higher altitude, but with colder temperature.

Where is the air screw?

You may want to try to replace the jet block gasket, or at least check it. I helped member treelimb change his on Saturday for his 1997 KDX200. It was swollen compared to the new one. It made a lot less smoke.

We even put in a 160 Keihin main jet instead of the "RD"?? (never heard of them) 150 that was in there.

Here's a page that is about MX I believe, but it will help some on the tuning.

You just need to try some tuning to see what is going to work well for your bike and altitude, humidity and temperature.

Once a carb is checked for proper mechanical condition (gaskets, floatvalve condition, level, etc.) the tuning can begin at the bottom and go up from there.
