Radiator replacement
Anyone here ever try Myler radiators as a replacement for OEM?. I'm finding the left side to be too big. . That middle tab is too big, it won't let the tank mount. Wondering if I got the wrong one or if anyone else has experienced that. OEM rads are silly expensive. Maybe someone can reccomend something other than Myler?

Re: Radiator replacement
The Chinese ones on eBay are ok if they fit, big if I hear. You never know.
Maybe buy a used one and have it fixed. ICW or Mylers both do good work.

I had used my super deductive reasoning to narrow it down to 1989 - 2006.

Re: Radiator replacement
There's no way the thing is right. But I have heard that Mylers have fitment issues on one side or the other on some bikes. Pretty helpful group here

Re: Radiator replacement
I have read a few reports on kdxrider and other sites of Chinese radiators not fitting well.

Re: Radiator replacement
I think so. Here's a thread from 2012:
https://www.apriliaforum.com/forums/sho ... tors/page5
One thing I have learned is that if something is made in the USA, a company will mention it, stamp it on the product and print it on the box. I looked on the Myler's site. The product description had no flashing neon screaming MADE IN THE USA, so I assume it is made in China.
I have zero experience with non-OEM radiators or any company that repairs radiators.
There was a member in another recent thread showing his repaired and fortified radiators. Whoever did it did an awesome job. The forum member showed pictures.
