hello there, I am about to lean out the 01 kdx 200, just wondering if the pilots and mains are the same in the keihin pj and pwk?

Yes, the PJ and PWK use the same part number needles, pilots and mains. The jetting will be similar between the two carbs for the same bike. The part numbers are Jet Needle N427-48-xxx, Pilot Jets N424-21-xxx and Mains 99101-357-xxx.

they are? thats a relief because I have a cr 500 with a keihin 38mm pj carb, with lots of jets for it, I can use those in my stock kdx 200 carb then?

Wouldn't the jets you have for the CR be substantially larger? I can't imagine that's not a thirsty beast... :supz:

yes but I have all pilots from 40 to 60 for it.have to buy the main though, don't have lower than 168. yes its pretty thirsty, but not to bad, Adam Millar built my engine, its got 65foot pounds off torque at 5800rpm. yes 55 is stock pilot Jason,on the pj ,I have 38 mm keihin airstriker on it now. but if those pilots and mains are the same it would save me some , jets are expensive around here
