Front brake rotor is getting pretty thin (about 20% left).

I run a wavey front rotor off a 2005 kxf 250, the only mod you need to do is just drill open the mounting holes as the kdx bolts are larger than the kxf ones ( kxf I think are 5mm kdx are 6mm) I use a little loctite to secure.... Been running it now for the past 3 years without any problem.

I have no problem drilling the holes out, but curious, why not just run a KDX rotor? What's the benefit of swapping?

Here in the UK there aren't many OE front rotors for the kdx, the ones that are, are too expensive...£70 ( $150 )... I can buy a pattern kxf disc new for £40 & it look good too !

Makes sense! I'll check pricing here in USA too before I order! Thanks!

I bend rotors on a frequent basis so I stopped buying the $100 EBC and started using tusk. Same brake feel, same stopping power....$45 cheaper.
