Hey there,

I'm looking at a KDX on Craigslist for 900$, its pretty clean except it has 30,000 miles on it.

Is that getting close to any major breaking points on the KDX? That seems like a lot for a non-street legal bike

You can find the bike http://roseburg.craigslist.org/mcy/4103910442.html

Thanks Guys!

The bike looks good. And that is 2885.8 miles. Roughly 2886 miles, not 30,000. The last (white) number is tenths of a mile.

Is 30,000 miles too much?

93/94 had the blue USD's.

Looks like a clean and unmolested E bike. i like it!

Looks good, just re-do the cable routing and mega-torqued handlebar mounts.

Looks like a nice clean bike to me. The KDX w/USD forks where available in 93 & 94 model years. That bike actually has the frame guards on it, I rarely see those on pre 95 bikes anymore. For $900 you can't really go wrong, unless the frame is broken or the gears are tossed. Rebuild the forks and check out the top end. Water seals will probably need to be replaced also, not a TON of work, takes an hour or two. I would also rebuild the forks, Les at LT racing just rebuilt mine...night and day difference. He even had the correct springs for my weight, my bike (a 94) had .29 springs in it from the factory, Les put .42 springs in it, he also drilled a "balancing hole" in the inner tube for the oil to move around better and I can really hit whoops and jumps pretty hard now.

The engine on that looks spotless for a bike of that age it really looks like it's been looked after and in abused. I'd go for it
