I've have always believd even Dot 5 is fully compatible with motorcycle brake systems. The only thing they tell you is you have to do a full blown system flush so there is ZERO Dot 3 or 4 left in the system.
I have Bel Ray dot 5 sitting in the garage. I haven't used it yet on my bike but I did switch it out in a KX125 with no problems to date.
