scotts & crossbar

can i just remove my crossbar when i install the scotts i have 7/8 tusk aluminum bars

It contributes to the bars strength so I myself wouldn't. I'd try to either bend it to accomodate the Scotts or sell em and get some Renthals with the pre-bent crossbar.

thanks kay dee put it on after work and was able to bow my crossbar wasn't as bad as i thought it would be
