Just changed a rear tire - what a pain in the azz! I installed new sprockets and am waiting on the chain. For the chain I ordered a 520 non o-ring 108 link for the standard 13/47 sprockets - Is that correct?

Front tire gets changed tomorrow night. I used x heavy duty tubes and hope they hold up in the rocky stuff. I hope to get out for a long ride this weekend - I'll probably be asking jet/carb questions after that.

108 should work for stock gearing. One thing that is very cool about Rocky Mountain ATV is that when you create an account you can also create machine profiles. When you do that you can go to a spec page for each machine and it wil list things like stock jet sizes, stock gears, chain, tire sizes, etc. it is really handy.

108 link chain will work fine with the stock gearing. I've went to a 13/48 and the 108 still works for that.. barely. Go with any bigger rear sprocket and you may have to use a 110.
First time or 2 changing tires can be troublesome, but after a few it gets to be fairly easy. Takes me about 20-30 minutes for off with the old and on with the new now.

what do you guys use to get the actual tire off?
i used to use screwdrivers on my 50CCs but the bead on the KDX seems much stiffer

You need at least 3 tire irons. Did the front tire tonight and it was easier than the rear. Hardest part for me is getting the tube stem through the hole in the rim.

Getting the tire off is not as hard as putting on the new one.
