:supz: Hiya! I've just got hold of a 1991 pink japanese kdx250. She had stood in a place (with horses- hence the rear part of the seat's been chewed off) for over a decade. Looks not too bad mechanical wise. It's street legal aswell. Thanks for being accepted to the forum.

Welcome! Man, I always wanted one of the Japanese market pink KDX's. Tried hunting down the plastics forever with no luck. Keep us posted as I want to see that bike brought back to it's former glory!

Thanks! The colours, pink vs turquoise really got a late 80ies/early 90ies feel to it. Headlight fairing is probably from another bike, as it's green. Will start on the engine rebuild. There's been a spacer put on below the cylinder to raise it, as the previous owner couldn't get the original piston, so there's a KX piston(non kdx/sr) inside? I'll keep you lot updated

Welcome! Can't wait to see the rebuild. As you noted, the pink and turquoise KDXs are so cool and nostalgic. Best of luck.
