Hello from Vancouver Island
Glad to have found this site lots of great information. I’m the proud owner of a 2002 kdx220. Have modified it with v-force reeds, USD shock conversion, thrust ring, gnarly woods and my latest improvement RB head mod. Awesome bike never lets me down on the big hills, rock & rooty wet single track we have on the island.

Holy crap did you have those forks shortened like 4 inches? They’re super low in the stroke!

I’m short. It is internally lowered front and rear. I matched the kx250 fork height to my original kdx fork height then lowered both front & rear shock another inch.
