Hello from Southwest Illinois

I am not new here but I have been off the site for awhile.
Here is my last introduction from 2012: Hello All, New to the forum and WOW what a wealth of information, Super job to all who do it. I am from the Illinois side of the St. Louis ,MO. area. I have an 05 KDX200, I just bought brand new (craigslist), from a guy who bought it new, and never rode it (unreal). It was like a time capsule, you should have seen my face (I almost s@#t myself). I am selling my 98 RMX250, I never did like it. I have had a bought new 99 KDX220r, sold it for a wr400f, sold it for the RMX. I have owned an 88 KDX and an 83 KDX 80 for my boy at one time. I have a butt load of vintage off road bikes and minis, and about twice as many street bikes, mostly VJMC or Harleys. I restore Harley Aermacchi and Honda minis for money and fun, and I restore worthless crap for myself.
Plenty of places to ride around here and a fair amount of Hare Scrambles as well. I am looking forward to my new KDX200 and hopefully I will ride more and wrench less.
Bob.
I barely rode the new KDX for a grand total of 98 miles and put her away in 2015, as life got in the way, AGAIN.( I have done some vintage though, you may see a few in my shop).
Well, I'm back!
So up to date here in 10/2021, So I took her out and she fired up second kick. I changed all the fluids and, re-joined my old dirt bike club, CCDR. I feel like a beginner again. This time I'm hopping up the KDX and see no reason not to stick with it. I have attached some pics of the KDX so you can see it is still a time capsule. I have added high bars, and a skid plate so far. Gnarly pipe is on back order from JF as well as about a grand in other goodies.
This site has again been VERY informative and it has helped me bring the KDX up to speed (pun intended)
