Hi guys, Here’s my 1979 Kawavarna KDX400 which I recently bought for a steal. Engine is kinda crappy, needs new piston, cilinder and rings and a whole lot more. Picture is how I bought it, will be customized a little more with a custom made exhaust and other carbie/intake.
Apparently these already had elektroplated cilinders at the time and pistons are just impossible to find for normal money. Found a used set which I hope is in okay condition and will be buying NOS piston rings for a whopping €90.
Still looking for a rubber intake manifold and reed valve, so if anyone has a golden tip. It’s very welcome.
