I’m stupidly trying to figure out how to work on this bike I have zero knowledge at best I simply work on my own cars and Learn as I go any help would be great I’m having trouble no spark stator appears good from other forum threads I learned the ohms and checked out but how to check the cdi ignition I have no clue

My issue is needs assembly and not sure bout how it goes precisley

What year is it?

You can buy an owner / service manual from eBay for not too much. Kawasaki made one. Clymer made one also for 1980 and 1981 models, but I think the vast majority of things are similar for 1982.

CDI may need to go to the dealer. They rarely fail. Look up the spark plug wire corroding at the plug junction.

That’s exactly what it was I got it to fire over. But still when I got it bolts were missing and whatnot need myself a list maybe get em at hardware

What fun would it be if a previous owner did not leave bolts off and maybe even replace metric fasteners with SAE? :-)
