Hello, fellow KDX Riders!
I'm a proud owner of a '96 200 KDX since 2017. Since the birth of my son the year after, I haven't done much work on the bike, exept some oil changes and air filter cleaning. The bike has some flaws, mainly the front suspension which feels... weird.
Now that the monster is a bit older, I'm able to put some work on the bike hence my subsription to this forum.
For the personal info, I live in the Auvergne region, a rural middle mountain area in the center of France, where I ride on road, on track, and off road.
I have had a bunch of bikes :500GSE i still have, a bit modded, 650SV, 600 Fazer, 1000 GSXR, 900 Hornet, and now a 600 GSR which I don't enjoy and I am going to sell.
My girlfriend rides a Husqvarna '99 Husqvarna 125 WRE and we hit the woods together. She's way better than me offroads though!
I look forward to exchange with you guys

That is how my brother and I got started. My dad had a bike, and his buddy had a bike and they would each take one of us. Later we got a Honda QA50 that we had to share. Whoever wasn't riding the minibike rode on Dad's tank. Brings back lots of great memories! (And memories of melted tennis shoe soles resting against the fins of the old TS185 air cooled motor lol)

Looks like great combo ride.
I spent quite a bit of work time in Toulouse, Issoudun, and Basel.
You have a lot of beautiful country to explore!
