New member... I'm restoring a 1987 KDX80!
I'm finally making some headway on my restoration of my 1987 KDX80. I found the chassis in the weeds at a friends house, it had been there for years. He said i could have it. I asked if he had any more of the parts and he said it was a complete bike when he got it... the rest was in the garage attic. The plastics were covered in mud and the motor was completely dissassembled and literally in a basket... when I washed the plastics and seat, I found that they were in perfect "mint" condition! I was soo excited! Now I am in it for the long haul to make the rest of the bike as perfect as the plastics and seat... So begins my mission!

Welcome to kdxrider.net.
Well, the starting price was great. It won't stay that way for long. :-)
I am somewhat familiar with the little KDX80. I had one a long time ago, plus have one on the super back burner for a rebuild.
