mideast hare scramble 3/1

Post by royadams »

Loaded up and ready to race. Hopefully the rain will stop before the race starts, and the trails won't be to slick. Time to get the race season started.

After the race the poor bike did not look so good. I will post some action pics as I get them from friends. It was a muddy mess out there. I did ok considering the conditions, I was in the top 3 for half of the first lap then buried it real deep in the mud. Had to get a 4 wheeler to winch me out 15 minutes later. Managed a 5th place and my first trophy. Im glad ive been hitting the gym the past month or I would not have made it. Think there were like 25 that did not make one lap.

I know it's just a little bit farther but I'm on-call that week for work and it's just too far to push my luck.
