Kickback

Post by 200Chaos »

Hi all, looking for some help. After a very long rebuild I'm finally at the point of getting the 250 running, but I've hit a problem. I ran it up twice and let it idle but whilst kicking it over there was some serious kickback, but it started. Now on the third attempt it won't start at all. Every other kick will result in a very harsh kickback. The engine fires but never comes to running. My question is, could this be a result of timing being wrong? I'm so close to having it running again any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated!!!

Yeah, it sounds like a timing issue.
