1994 kdx 250 rear shock interchangeability

Hey guys i am new to the site and just picked up a 1994 kdx 250 i am in desperate need of a rear shock and am very limited on time as my friends and i have a group ride planned for this upcoming weekend,my question is what rear shocks will work on my kdx 250 besides the stock one? will one off an rm,cr,or yz work? I can have mine rebuilt wich i will do but im looking at a minium of 2 weeks and i just dont have that kind of time. need something i can bolt on and ride with today.theres a few guys parting bikes on craigslists in my area,a few yz's,rm's and cr's will any of these possibly work? thanks in advance

Welcome to the site. I am thinking a MX shock would be too long, even if it did have the same mounts.

What's wrong with yours? BTW, I have a spare '94 KDX250 shock I would be willing to sell. Probably pretty close to needing a rebuild itself but it was working fine last time I rode it.
