2 stroke oil

Hey guys I was wondering what the best 2 stroke oil is to use in my 93 kdx250. I have been using belray mc1 and now I’m about out and I can’t find the mc1 anywhere. I tried the belray h1r and my bike would not run on it.

I've been running Lucas semi-synthetic at 40:1 now for a few years. Have done three top ends running it and everything came out looking great. I ran 927 before, and loved it, but it was hard to find locally so I switched to Lucas since it is available at regular auto parts stores.

I use Motul 710 mixed at 40:1. I would use any top brand I could by locally.

The important thing here is to pick one (hopefully one that will remain available to you) and jet your bike to your chosen ratio.

I like Amsoil 50:1. It's red. I'd like it more if it were Kawi green. I'd use something else if it were orange.
