Re: 98kx250 clutch not disengaging
Hey guys...upon thinking. The whole reason i tore this thing apart was my sons chain broke, bunched up in CS and snapped the case while he was out riding....when he got back, he brought back all parts that were broken except for actuator push rod...so, i got one off of fleabay....i think it was off a 95 or 96 L=205mm...which im realizing now is a diff part number from 97-98....maybe its longer than 97-98 rod? So, can anybody tell me..or possibly direct me to find out what the rod length is supposed to be on the 97-98 because the fiches im finding doesnt have the length.

$8.95 - $15 for the correct one on eBay right now.
What are you feeling when you pull in the clutch lever?

Theres zero play in handle...cable hasnt had any adjustment taken out......clutch to me, Feels odd. I looked on ebay lastnight....didnt see actuator push rod specifically for the 97-98...between 94-98 theres two diff part numbers...with the fiche calling out Length for the 94-96 rod but not the others

I looked up the part number and then looked on eBay. Why did you buy a part for a different year?

I didnt do enough research before i purchased.....i figured all the K models would be the same....so, removed the push rod....warmed up bike, then bumped started it....did fine. Long story short, the rod is tooo long...
