Sorry may be a silly question but what's holes are for what etc I'm unsure

WHAT THE HE**?!

Does it have an oil tank for the two-stroke oil??

top pic, upper left is a vent hose location, I suppose

MAN! That is different than the USA carb!

Oh really I'm confused now haha, now no oil tank just mix in with the fuel,

Yeah, I think it is just a vent. One on each side, then one on the bowl (overflow).

Same here I dont remeber anymore than two hoses on my old one 😂 I guess if it's running wrong when I start it I'll just putting my finger over holes lol

This is mine and from here they looked to be blocked of unlike the new one they are open hmmm

I am sorta, so it's got a 6f39 needle so now I need to research and find excately what carb I have, maybe try my old jets so bit of trial and error coming up

So my findings are you
Old carb new carb
H6-52. W8-71
V27-3. V27-3
Mj 340. Mj 320
Float bowl 1-f. Float bowl 2p
Needle 6fl52. Needle 6f39

So beside that all the dimension floats pilots seem to all be the same the 6f39 is about 4m longer and thicker at end

I don't think the insert would be a problem.

Are you not running the stock carb?

Same carb but like I said wrong needle,
One positive is I out the 320 jet in, put needle clip lowest and I can now get a good idle so a small win,

6FL52 is the stock OEM needle.

Yep I know I bought a secondhand carby that was meant to have the needle, everything else was excately the same checked the needle and nope wrong needle :(
