Pwk36 airstriker from pwk35

Post by Michael93 »

Hey guys sorry for another post but I snatched up a pwk36 airstriker which I will be fitting to my 86,
I know the 88 ran a pwk35 I'm just after some advice for jets
Pwk 36 mj#170 pj#55
Pwk 35 mj#158 pj#48

Assuming these are correct, will I be able to adjust enough to suit to run the pwk36 or will have to change jets straight of the bat,

I already have a 88 cable coming and will be modding to fit the carby, in so my only problem is weather to buy new jets

Look at jets r us website for the measurements of the carbs. The 33 and 35 are the same carb body. The 36 has the same body as the 38-41 which is taller and has much larger inlet/outlet sizes. I would almost put money on it that the 36 isn’t going to work.
