something happened...he went to a 20PJ and ran that poor beast dry lol

That's half the fun.

Ran it for a bit today. It stumbles at idle and smokes like a chimney when you gas it. Took the head off and it appears to have lean symptoms (I'm about to google some photos of this stuff cause this is my first time).

Cylinder looks a bit better than I expected, which might be bad considering the sound I was hearing. Head had some dings in it, piston appeared fine but has some carbon, so we'll wait.

Looks like there's gonna be "yet another rebuild thread" coming soon...
