KDX200 C3 std tyre sizes?

Hi, what size tyres should my 1988 KDX200C3 be using.
Currently I have 90/90/21 and 120/100/18 sizes fitted which are road legal.
I want a pair of tyres for MX and Enduro riding, they don't have to be road legal.
Can anyone recommend a particular brand and sizes?

80/100-21 (or whatever normal is) and 100/100-18" were stock.

I would stick with stock sizing. I have raced/still ride MX and cross country using using Maxxis Maxxcross IT (intermediate terrain) tires. I found them to last a bit longer than Dunlops. Not sure I could honestly say the traction difference between the two was materially noticeable. When I raced a lot I would have a spare wheel with a trials tire on it for hard packed trails...that was a very noticeable a change!

MX and trails are very different terrains so I think spending time/$ figuring out how best to setup your suspension to reasonably handle both will impact your result more than tire selection. Just be reasonable on what you expect out of the KDX on the MX track and have fun!

Just ordered a pair of Metzeler MC4 MX Tyres off ebay, £75 for the pair inc P+P.

Good price! Put baby powder on the tubes before install. It helps prevent twisting and keeps the friction down between tire/tube which aids in preventing pinched flats.
