87-88 KDX200 Chain Guide Rollers / Sliders

Post by lacmprs »

Hey guys. New to the forum. I have already read some interesting info and discussions on here. Thanks for posting.

I have recently acquired a 87 and 88 KDX 200. The 87 is pretty nice but the 88 is rough. Both need the chain guide rollers and chain guide sliders. The bolts are still there just not the rollers. I found out that the OEM rollers are not available anymore but there are some on Ebay. Where do you guys get yours? What brand?

Then I have found the chain sliders on DC plastics. Has anyone tried those or no somewhere else to try?

Thanks,
Shay

I used these when I rebuilt my 87 model and they appear to be pretty good parts:

Wow! I just looked at your bike. It looks great! :supz: I also saw your thread about the rebuild. I will have to take some time and read it.

Thanks. It was a lot of work but it is a great bike. Take your time (and spend too much money) and you'll have a really fun bike when you get done.
