Rear shock.

Post by Metricscaler »

Does anyone know where to get parts for a 1986 kdx 200 rear shock ? I just had one given to me and it looks like there's a rubber bushing that's cracked in half on the inside of the sprind and slid down from the top, not sure the name of it I'm waiting on a manual. Thanks!

Bottom bumper?

This is a different model KDX than a 1986, but shows it on the shock:

Yep that's it , are parts hard to find for this shock? Just had it given to me and I was just wondering if parts were available? I was thinking about fixing it up.

Finding the piston band and bushing may prove tough. The bottom bumper, bladder and nut are the same as the 1989+ models.

www.racetech.com has most of the parts.
