Clutch spring free length

Post by Michael93 »

ImageHey guys I have a service manuel it's for the water cooled model but it's says the clutch spring service length is 37.9 and standard is 39.4 now I have a 1986 kdx 200 but I have measured my spring and they come in at a whopping 31/32mm, now it seems crazy they are that over the service limit that now im not sure I'm going on the right manuel can anyone confirm please

You may want to look on eBay to find a service manual. It will be the best money you can spend on the bike.
