1982 KDX175 kickstart assembly

Post by LiamRM212 »

Hi I'm new to this site. My dads kdx kickstart is absolute garbage, it just slides by the gear and it is near impossible to start. If anyone knows
Where I can get one that would be great, or if anyone has one and would ship to Canada that would be great. :yawinkle:

Likely not the lever, but the ratchet gear or spring, or the spur gear. The ratchet and the spur gear interlock with teeth that can wear down over the years, or it could be the spring that provides pressure to push the 2 together is worn. Either way you'd need to take it apart and see what condition the parts are in.
