My riding buddy totaled his KTM 250 TPI engine. Oil pump failure at 130 hours. He needs new top and bottom end. Too complicated for me.

That's great!! I love my (starts on the 1st kick) carb'd KDX. It's like a conversation piece when we go riding. Someone always comes over to talk about how good they are. They also say don't ever sell it.

Most every time I encounter other riders on the trail they're like "holy **** a KDX!" I actually have mine for sale because it's a bit low on power at our elevation (7-12,000'). I'd love to keep it but I'm really trying not to collect bikes, lol. With that said I won't take any less than my asking price, I'm in no rush to sell.

If it just had 10hp more and electric start I'd never sell it.

My wife used to work for a European motorcycles dealership as the parts department manager. She was blown away at how many new bikes of all brands would come in with dead fuel pumps...
I ❤️ my KDX220R's...
