Once I have the operating rod all the way installed, I pull it out as far as the “rod guide” will allow me. I time both of the side valves & the rod opens & shuts the side valves perfectly. As soon as I push in the main exhaust valve, the rod will not open & shut the whole way. Is it possible I have the wrong main exhaust valve for the rod? Like I said the rod works perfect for the side valves but won’t open & shut once I have the main exhaust all the way in. Any ideas?!?!
