I kept my footpegs from my old wr in hoping to use them on my kdx. The mount angle was the same. That was pretty much the deciding factor. Everything thing else could be dealt with. The footpeg, sleeve, and spring are from fastway for the 01 wr.
Starting with fitment and measurements. As you can see, there is a bit that needs to be removed from the spring side. The inside demension is a little over 23mm or .909 in. The mounting pin is exactly the same size needed.
I cut the spring side of the sleeve to make the entire length 23mm. After that, i assembled the peg by inserting the sleeve and placing the spring.
Finally, i installed the peg on the mount. With the modified fastway peg, it looks to be a 1/2in height adjustment depending which side of the peg you insert the sleeve.

Nice work. This will help out the H/220 model folks as well. Just too bad that Kawi didn/t use bolt on peg mounts instead of welded ones, would make the aftermarket much easier.

But that's part of the reason they were able to keep the KDX so affordable!bufftester wrote: ↑02:40 pm Jul 20 2021 Nice work. This will help out the H/220 model folks as well. Just too bad that Kawi didn/t use bolt on peg mounts instead of welded ones, would make the aftermarket much easier.
