This CDI was $26 and is working great in my 94 KDX200. Use the wiring diagrams to match the wires on cdi to proper functioning locations on bike. Some wires are different colors but with the wiring diagrams from both a 95-06 and the 89-94 you can match the functions of those wires on the cdi box to the correct ones on the bike. White/red to white/red for Magneto pickup coil..blue wire goes to ignition coil input tab on side...black/yellow from cdi to black for coil ground to frame, the one with round eyelet under coil mounting bolt...black/white to black/ white for kill switch...black from cdi to black wire on bike that goes to magneto.

This will work, though you'll never get the optimum performance. The CDI is basically a tuned RC circuit that adjusts the timing of the output spark pulse based on engine speed. The E and H are close enough engine wise you'll likely never notice a difference. Wouldn't work as well between a KDX250 and a 200 though
