KDX E series plastics
Hey everyone, I am new to KDXrider. This is my first post. My question is regarding the front and rear fenders on the E series. I have a 1993 Kdx200 that I am looking to somewhat update the look of it. I'm looking to do a build simular to Thrahl's build. I am wondering what front and rear fenders will work on my bike. Can I use fenders from other bikes? Or is it only kx fenders. Thanks

The front fender from just about any bike will work providing you are willing to drill holes to mount it.
The rear fender is the problem. How they are made to mount is very bike specific and nothing is close to the KDX. I used an '06 YZ450 rear fender on my white and blue '90 KDX but it wasn't perfect and took some ingenuity to make work.

Hi. Welcome to kdxrider.net. Thanks for joining us and participating, not just lurking.
I second what SS109 said. Front fenders are all pretty much the same, but the four holes are spaced differently on different brands.
The rear will be a fair amount of cutting and such. All angels, curves, legths, widths are different.

I'm a fan of the KX500 fender on the rear. It fits with very little modification.
