Been looking to replace the oem one for a while and found a slightly used kx5 silencer that’s priced right. Side panels & seat mounting bolts are the same between these bikes. The sub frames seem almost identical so the silencer should bolt up but just wanted to confirm before proceeding.
Looking at the parts diagram for the kx5 exhaust the only difference may be how the silencer joins the pipe.

Just for the record, you can't buy a better silencer than the one that came factory on the '89-'94 bikes. They work that good.
