Silencer question...

I just bought a silencer off of eBay, and I took it apart, and it looks like this:

Is it missing a piece? I think so, in looking at the OEM parts for a 1991 KDX on RockyMountainATV. I think I am missing a baffle.
Could I take another exhaust silencer I have laying around and cut a perforated tube the appropriate length to connect the two internal pieces? And wrap silencer packing around this section?

It looks like you are missing a couple of parts.

On 18046 (the packing, you can just use aftermarket packing, fiberglass insulation wrapped, etc.

Yes, you are missing quite a few pieces. Here's a pic of mine from my '90 KDX.
