My Type E has a 1.85" back rim, narrower than the Type H rim. Any Type E owners running a tire larger than 100/100 x 18? I'm trying to decide if I want to replace the rim.

Measure the dimensions inside the swingarm. I have seen several chewed up chain splash guards on eBay from a "too wide" rear tire.

I always ran a 110/100-18 on the rear of my E series bike. Not sure if the E and H series share the same rim but I run 120/100-18's on the H series.

I just ordered a 100/100 Shinko 505 cheater - we'll see how that works.

I'm running a 110/100/18 tractionator on a stock rim on my E-series. Fits without issue other than rubbing the plastic mud guard here and there- it doesn't rub bad enough that I doubt I'll take the time to mess with/trim the plastic.
