Couple of questions please

Post by bozzwoldo »

Guys,

Based in UK. Just bought another kdx200E1 1989. Bloody luv them!

However can you help with the following please

Foot pegs. I know there are previous threads, but can we confirm that early 90s YZ or WR250 ones fit without modification?

Also bashplates. I have a green plastic one on one of the bikes, but the other doesn't have one. Any ideas where I can get one.

Lastly, if there are any kdx owners on here in the UK, or if you are visiting the UK and you fancy getting together for a days trail riding, get in touch. I ride and lead trail riding days in the UK with mates, in Wales, midlands, Devon and Yorkshire.
Would be great to get a bunch of kdxs out together and get some photos of these fantastic bikes doing what they do best!

Foot pegs and skid plates can be found at US retailers and on E-bay, very available.

I got the ebay YZ / WR Yamaha pegs from China. They're good(also took nearly a month to arrive) but you'll need aangle grinder handy to shave a couple mm off each side so they'll slide into place
