Hi. What tools did you use to measure?
Any chance you can post a picture?
and of course, welcome to the forums.

I used a telescoping Gage and a Mic to measure the parts and I'm a machinist of 10 years so that part i know what I'm doing on.or at least I should lol.Are you wanting pics of the bike or cylinder and piston? Thanks

OK, good! All too often I read people using the sliding calipers trying to measure it.
If the cylinder is that worn, I am wondering what the plating looks like, assuming it is the stock plating.
Thanks for catching it before it shattered.
If the plating is worn out, or the cylinder is too large, it can be replated at places like Langcourt or Millenium Technologies. ALMOST all people recommend a replate instead of sleeving under most normal circumstances. Is that vague enough?

How much does plateing usually cost and why isn't using a sleeve recommended? I've sleeved other bikes and have had no problems with them.

Plating lasts longer, heat ransfer, cost over time, weight, etc.. Here is a link to one of the more highly recommended places:
http://www.mt-llc.com/cylservice.php
Cost is usually around $200, plus shipping back and forth, plus piston kit and gaskets.
