trail tech computer kit installation

I'm just curious if anyone has installed a trail tech computer on their E series. I notice they don't offer a model specific kit until the 95 model year, but I know they have a "universal" kit for bikes that have conventional forks and a kit for bikes with inverted forks. I'd like to have a speedo on my bike since its street legal and i'll be riding across town from time to time to get to some local trails. Thanks for any input.
