Went for a ride today and the e-series impressed

Post by Fletch »

I was so hung over this morning :partyman: , but committed to a ride with some dudes. I have only ridden with one of them before.
Riders were on newer gear, 4 hundred ktm, 3 something husky, 530 berg, a 400 something husky, and a klx.

Mine was the only 2 stroke and it's an 89 so I was getting some funny looks at the start of the day, cause ya know it's not the prettiest.

About half way through at a break, I started up first and did some recon and as I was pulling out I heard them talking about how smooth and quiet it sounded and how it was lugging awesome like a tractor. I couldn't help smile. Without coming out and saying it outright, we were all in agreement, it's a fantastic bike.

I think that's the best time i've ever had with a hangover!
long live the e-series!!! :prayer:

lol. good point. i always seem to be hungover on ride day.

The E bike is indeed an incredible machine. Been riding mine religiously for quite a long time now, and have only had to call it a day once on account of my front caliper locking up. Every other time, it's been one of my buddies on KTM's that have ended a good day early... lol

Bulletproof ride. Just replaced bottom shock and rear wheel bearings tonight with almost no tools

Ready for some action now

I'll have to do some work to mine before spring after the winter riding. Shock rebuild, spring change, rear tire, seat recover, repack stem and rear end linkage, chain and sprockets.
I find it fun to work on though as it's easy to get at stuff with minimal tools.

Wow, looking at that list it's a good thing I insulated the "man shed".
