hi guys in the middle of restoring an 89 kdx200 and have come to the carb its marked PJ26BABI with weird jetting 50pj 170 main and a needle marked NR1367 any idea what its off
Have ordered a rebuild kit 42/45 pjs 152/155 mains and hopefully a CGK needle if i can find one have a DGK on its way from US hopefully this will be a good starting point
what pj carb is this????

Hi. Is that the stock carb for a 1989 UK model?
In the USA, that would be the wrong carb, but the UK model may be different. In the USA, we had a dirt only version with a PWK model Keihin carb.

i checked the uk parts fiche and the early uk model had a seperate idle speed adjuster so im stumped

well the pj saga continues had a bit more time on and a measure and it turns out its 38mm
so the question is second hand standard carb or PWK ?????

If yours is a KDX200-E1, then I would shop for a PWK. Be aware that a real one is not too cheap and a counterfeit one does not always work too well.
